The Stockholm World Water Week will take place again from 17-23 August 2008 under the theme "Progress and Prospects on Water: For a Clean and Healthy World".

The World Water Week in Stockholm is a leading annual global meeting place for capacity-building, partnership-building and follow-up on the implementation of international processes and programmes in water and development.

Within the programme of the Water Week the EWP will organise two side events; one on Water and Energy and one on the global perspective of the Water Stewardship Programme.
