Vewin (the Association of Dutch Water Companies) is the umbrella organisation for water supply companies in the Netherlands and promotes the interests of its members to enable them to fulfil this task effectively. Vewin’s work mainly involves influencing the legislative and regulation processes of national and European governments in the general interests of the sector. It also conducts research in various related fields (detecting legionnaire’s disease in homes for example) and functions as knowledge and information centre for waterworks. |
