The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) is an independent body set up by the Dutch private and public sectors. It nationally coordinates water activities overseas and provides relevant information regarding these activities. The main goals of the NWP are to harmonize the activities and initiatives of the Dutch water sector overseas and promote the Dutch water expertise worldwide. The organisation acts as focal point in the exchange of information among the more than 130 Dutch members.

The NWP:

• Provides direct access to the entire range of products and services offered by the Dutch water sector
• Acts as central contact point for people from other countries that seek information on the Dutch water sector
• Coordinates the interests of the Dutch private and public sector regarding international water issues
• Promotes and supports the collective Dutch interests in the international water community
• Creates new opportunities for Dutch knowledge and research institutes and organisations in the private sector
