| Summary: | Danish Water Forum is a network of Danish water organisations aimed at highlighting expertise and knowledge and facilitating concerted actions. DWF was established in 2002 by a broad range of stakeholders related to the Danish water sector with the aim of moving from fragmentation to integration - and promoting and expanding its role at the international scene. Among the members are contractors, consultants, research institutions, industries, water companies, NGOs and government authorities. The objective of DWF is to strengthen the Danish water sector, nationally and internationally, within water resources, clean water and wastewater, with the aim to promote and enhance Danish international water activities by: Promoting easy access by members to knowledge and competence on water, thereby strengthening the quality and competitiveness of the Danish water sector. Strengthening horizontal cooperation between Danish authorities, companies, and institutions. Enhancing the visibility and branding of Danish water expertise. DWF is open to all Danish organisations, the traditional water sector stakeholders and relevant actors in related fields such as environment, agriculture, and health. DWF members receive regular electronic newsletters and DWF organise and facilitate thematic meetings. |
